7th grade: Titanic Unit

Titanic Introduction: Using a variety of materials, 7th graders were asked to construct a boat that could hold many marbles without sinking.  Here are a few of the prototypes.

This was not made in class.  But I had to take a photo. It's a great replica of the Titanic.

BLINK:  the fastest card game, definitely challenges your quickness!

Take 4!  Like scrabble but at a much faster pace!!

Last Word:  A race to have the last word!

Knock-Out: A game that involves math strategy!

6th: Riveria Diego Mexican Pastel Art

Learning to use pastels created excitement during today's class.  The students divided into small groups to learn about Mexico and their artists through centers. We did a little Mexican cooking, bingo, and even  leaned the Mexican Hat Dance.

7th: Greek Fest

What better way to sum up our unit on Greek Myths than a Greek Fest!  We enjoyed sampling Greek food (Thanks Parents!!)and watching our Greek commercials, while dressed in Greek attire, of course:)
