6th grade teaches Fairfax 3rd graders Mulitplication with homemade games!

Our 6th grade unit is Art Appreciation.  What better way to appreciate art than by creating a game that others can benefit from.  Creating is one way of showing art, for sure, and these kids really had some creative ideas.   The students could not do a replica of a game (like Candyland, Monopoly, etc) they had to come up with a new "outside of the box" type of game. The 3rd graders had a blast and I think the 6th graders enjoyed it also

7th grade Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament

Our last field trip in the CCATS program was a blast!!!  I will miss these 7th graders!! What a great group of kids, can't wait to see what their future holds ;)
